Fancy Dress Parade

Here is another photograph of the Fancy Dresss Parade in 1950 (similar to picture #812 sent in by Billy Geddes). This picture shows the four Graham sisters: Janette holding hands with Lynn on the left and Kay on the right and standing behind Kay is Rosalie.
Ishbel Mackenzie is standing behind Lynn and standing left of Lynn is Anne James. Left again is Helen Archibald. I am not sure who the girl is standing to the left of the picture. Perhaps someone out there can jog my memory.
(Anne James now Anne Bridges)

Hello Rosalie, I thought you would like this picure. I was speaking to Janette last year when I was up in Invergordon. She has hardly changed at all since this picture was taken. Good to hear all your comments on the site.........I am becoming addicted to it!

Hullo Anne, wonderful to see this picture. The girl standing next to you and next to Helen Archibald is Helen Gregory. On the extreme right in the bowler hat is Billy Brownhill. The man above you is Mr. Collins. Ishbel Mackenzie is my cousin.

All credit to the costume makers, this picture could easily be passed off as a recent scene in some remote part of Macedonia (apart from Tweety Pie at the front).

Anne, many happy memories. I am so glad that my daughter Lindsay found this site. I am rapidly becoming addicted. I still refer to Inverg as "home" even though I've been away for more years than ever lived there. Thanks for this terrific picture. I was so thrilled to see it.
