My Dad wrote a tune for this visit - Invergordon's Welcome to HM Queen Elizabeth II and he played it for her on the day. It's hung in the Port Office. I know that the Queen's Piper at the time (Brian MacRae) played it for the queen on several ocassions. The choirs from Invergordon Academy were singing in the British Legion - where the pensioners were waiting to meet the Queen.
