Inchindown Pipeline fuel heaters

Fuel was pumped from the Seabank Tank Farm to the Underground caverns at Inchindown. During the winter the fuel had to be heated so that it could pass easily along the 4 mile pipeline.
These heaters were at regular intervals, approximately every 200 yards, and in pairs, one per pipe.
