Saro Lerwick L7257

Saro Lerwick L7257 sank at her moorings at Invergordon on 11th November 1941 and was raised in December 1941. The aircraft was moved by road to Greenock for possible repairs. Imagine being stuck behind that load on the old A9!
Another view of its transportation to Greenock can be seen at picture #1403.
