Hi! Charlie, I have a date on the back of my school photo that says it is June 1960.

Hi Eddie, good to hear from you. I guess you're right about the photo date. I was making us all 10 years older, and we can't have that eh?!

David Ross, Anne Fraser, Wilma Merrick and Ann Morrison were all from the Kildary area and were former pupils of Logie Easter Primary School, which I note has now been demolished. What a pity, I spent seven happy years there, as did my 4 younger brothers. During my time there the Headmaster was Mr Cooper, who retired with his wife to Saltburn. The photo featured above, which Eddie says is dated 1960 was a couple of years ahead of me and may have featured pupils coming to the end of their second year. I went to Invergordon Academy in 1961. How are you Eddie, I dropped you an e-mail a couple of days ago.

Hi John - I passed Logie Easter last week and although the old school has been demolished the basis of the old schoolhouse remains and has been added to quite sympathetically to form what looks like a nice big house or maybe a house and some flats. The old school house is still recognisable.
It's great to see you on the web site and I believe you are now living in Aberdeenshire. My eldest brother Ian is in Inverurie - maybe we could meet up for a beer and some footie reminicing when I am visiting - drop me an e-mail.

Hi Eddie and Charlie, Long time no see. I was playing on the computer at work when I came across this photo. Brought back memories of the old days at the Academy. Hope you and your families are well. Time flies by, and I can hardly believe my eldest grandson is twenty. I've been living in Hertfordshire for the past forty eight years and still work part-time as a counsellor at our local community mental health centre. I still try and get up to old InverG most years. We need to have a reunion.

I agree with Peter and wish one of you guys living in Invergordon would organise a reunion of sorts, locally. I suppose like me at 67 you all spend lots of time reminiscing. I never realised I would become so sentimental.
