That would be Esther Rose!
Added by Fraser Dryden on 27 January 2007
Fraser - thanks! Although I knew her surname (am I right in remembering her dad was the janitor?) Esther's was the one christian name I could not recall.
Added by Heather Anderson (nee Booth) on 28 January 2007
Yes Heather, Esther's Dad was Mr Rose the 'Janny'. They had a house attached to the side of the Cromlet school building.
Added by Fraser Dryden on 28 January 2007
Thanks Fraser. I remember the house now that you've said. My most vivid memories of Mr Rose are 'always on his bike'?
Added by Heather Anderson (nee Booth) on 28 January 2007
Re Mr Rose - or pushing his bike!
Added by Fraser Dryden on 29 January 2007
That made me laugh! You're right Fraser - or pushing his bike!

This is a blast from the past. I still have the photo. We went to Bonar Bridge for the party.
Heather, are you still in Glenrothes? Liam and my son Steven went to school together at Collydean.

Hi Linda - nice to hear from you! Yes, I can always remember when Liam and Steven met at Collydean and became friends! Such a coincidence wasn't it! I also remember we ourselves met while watching both boys swimming at The Sports Centre and you (we both did!) brought along some old pics for us to reminisce? No - I am no longer staying in Glenrothes - thank goodness! Coming from such an old historic and romantic town as Dunfermline - Glenrothes could never compare.

Hello Linda. There are a few familiar faces in this photograph. Indeed most of them were in my class in the Academy. Others such as Pamela Bryson, Fiona Ferguson, Jay Anderson and Christine McKinnon were in the same class. I wonder where they all are now as they approach 59/60 years of age?

Well I'm still alive and kicking for the moment anyway. I used to really look forward to Lindy's birthday parties, you never new where you would end up but Lindy was a really nice girl.

Amazing I still have this photo too, Lindy always had great parties, noticed there are no boys!

Hi Jeanette

No - no boys as I don't think any of us were interested in them - at THAT time! That soon changed!

Yes - Lindy's parties were always great - she was so much fun!

Hi Jeanette - good to hear from you.
Yes - very happy with my lot thanks. I have three beautiful children and a lovely husband. I'm still working - what about you?
Yes - I too often wonder about all our old pals. The years have gone by so quickly. Too quickly.
God Bless
