O'Neills in a school photo

This is a school picture, date 1951, taken outside Miss Macfarlane's (Titch) classroom. Apparently you could have individual pictures taken along with class pictures if you requested it. I was probably told: 1 show up on time, 2. be neat and tidy, 3 BEHAVE....notice my socks are smartly pulled up in place, pants neat and jacket zippered....This all would have changed within 10 mins of picture being taken, as I likely went straight to playing football behind this building on the gravel and my socks would be at my ankles and everything else dishevelled.....I would be 10 and my sister Margaret 12 at the time.....

Great picture Harry, Margaret was in the class above me. She really could sing well!

Harry, I am amazed at how well turned out and debonaire you are! The wicked little grin on your face, however, telegraphs that you will revert to your rapscallion self in short order!

No doubt about it Kathy, thanks for your comment, from Canada. Kathy and I worked together at the Telegraph office in Saskatoon Sask. We just recently re-connected.
