Donnie Rose was my cousin. Son of Andy and Cathie Rose (nee Fraser), Inverbreakie Farm and then of Salvasen Crescent, Alness. Donnie, a hard working bricklayer, passed away on August 1977. He is survived by his brother Alex who lives at Burnside, Alness.

It was nice to recognise Bobby McCaig when looking through these pictures. I wonder if he ever knew I was a 'secret admirer' of his!

It was good to see a photo of Donnie - he was a good friend and a more genuine guy you couldnt meet. Bobby still looks the same last time I saw him at Alness Pool a few years ago!
