A wonderful group picture shown on a postcard. The caption at the bottom left corner reads 'A.W. Pierce, Nottingham' - the printers at a guess. The number 263 appears at the feet of the man on the left. The motor bike is a Rudge Multi, registration no. JS-88.
The date is a guess.

I have a number of these postcards taken about 1915. The number I think would be the no. of the picture taken as I have no. 223 taken of the men of the 1/4 Battalion Seaforth Highlanders at a Church Service at the camp in Dornoch.
There were more of the Highlanders when they camped at Kingussie before heading to Bedford where they left on Thursday 5th November 1915.
