Large Load on the MoveThe first windfarm components to be imported to the Cromarty Firth have been unloaded at the Queen's Dock in Invergordon.
The components, including 40 metre blades and tower sections of around 60 tonnes each, are destined for a National Power windfarm being built at Rothes in Morayshire and will be transported on specialised road transport.
Manufactured in Denmark, the materials were shipped from Esjberg on the vessel Condock 1.
3 further shipments are anticipated over the next few weeks.
