That's an old photo of Hec. He had many happy days there.

Who is the person with Hec?
Added by Shona Mackay on 13 August 2014
At a guess I think it may be Kelvin Ross.

Yes it's me there (Kelvin) in the foreground opening the 8 strand multiplait rope with a tool called a fid and forming an eye splice. Sadly missed Hector is forming a splice on the other end.

Aye thought it was yourself Kelvin. You had many happy days there the pair of you, and all the other guys.
