Thank you William for sharing a wonderful picture full of happy memories. Beta is my Granny and sadly passed away in 2008. She loved working at the Picture House with Mr Ross and all the other staff especially your dear mother Mrs Smart (Ruby).
Here's to them all that have passed, they were legends in our wee town.

Hi Mark, it was a grand wee place to work, very laid back but everyone got on with the job. Remember your Granny going round with the ice cream tray as well and selling it from the hatch at the switch room opposite the cash desk.

Hi William, Mark and Liz. When I was ice cream girl I had to switch off the freezer to get behind it to retrieve a couple of the wee tubs which fell down the back. I forgot to switch it on again!!! Alistair was very good about it though. Happy days working there. Such a great crowd.
