The house in the bottom right corner of this photo is no 24 High Street, Alexandra House, and was the home of the Maclennan family from around 1905 to the mid 70s. James Maclennan, Music Teacher and Church Organist was born here in 1905.

Wonder what's going on at the top of the High St - looks like a crowd and flags, bunting, maybe a Gala?

Wow, I'm so happy to see this photo. My g-grandparents were living at 24 High St in the 1901 census with 6 of their eventual 16 children. Going by the place and date of birth of some of the later children, they may have only moved out in about 1904/05. Maybe your family moved in immediately after them??
I'd love to hear from anyone with any other information about this house.
