Annie Mackay Ross

Annie Mackay Ross, b. Dec 1902, daughter of Alexander Ross and Williamina Mackenzie. The period looks like the late 1930s/early 1940s. I don't know who the two young girls are?

Hello Sheena, I am your second cousin Robert Alexander Ross, Alan Ross's father. Annie Ross was my aunt, the girl on the far right is my older sister Sandra, the girl in the middle’s name is Helen, she was a friend of my sister when she visited Annie with my father James Ross. I am not sure of the year but I think it's early 1950s.

Hello Robert, thank you for the information about the two girls. Did Annie ever marry? We have a private on-line family tree to which I can give you access, if you would like me to, if you let me know your email address. Your son Alan knows our email address.

Hi Sheena, Annie Ross was my auntie, she came to live with us at Corby, Northants, I was 13 at time. I have her name Anne Ross. McFarlane is my dad's name; my mum's name was Margaret McKenzie. I didn't know much about my auntie as I was at school. What I do know she was a Nannie, for how long I don't know. If you know anything or have any photo of her, would you send them to me? Thank you.
