Invergordon Academy

This photo is of Invergordon Academy outside Park building. I think it was taken approx mid 1940s?
The only person I can identify is my uncle Iain Askew, far left in the middle row.

Rear Row left looks like George Mellon; third left is Scottie Campbell; fifth left is James Macdonald (Corky); seventh left in centre row is Jimmy Dick and I would say the boy third left in the centre row is one of the Will boys?

Hi Rosalie, I don't know you but remember your sister Janette. Yes, that is Iain. I have sent him a link to the site for, when I told him about the scout photo he is in, he remembered some of the names that had put comments. He is retired, lives in Inverness and keeps busy. Hoping he will decide to use the pc as I am sure he could contribute quite a bit to the site.
Would that really be Ronnie Tout? I thought he was younger but Ronnie always looked the same for years; he was a nice guy.

Were the Swanson girls twins and have red hair? - or am I thinking of others?
Added by Harry O'Neill on 04 September 2008
Yes, the Swansons were twins and had red hair. Betty was our postie here for many years. Don't think the year for the photo is 1945, more like 1949 or 1950.
