Comments:
My Cousin Richard was in the 4th Battalion and was killed near Abbeville on the retreat to St. Valery where very few escaped capture by the Germans. Can anyone name the soldiers in this picture? Some of them also appear in picture #45.

Hi Bill, the only name I know is Andrew Shivas. I'm afraid no one I know can tell me the names of the other soldiers.

The accordion player could be my uncle Lewis Edwards (19) who served in the 4th Battalion, missing presumed killed 04/06/1940. My sister told me Lewis was an accordion player before he joined up. I have no photos of him.
